Second Announcement

The VII International URSI Suzdal Symposium “Modification of the Ionosphere by Powerful Radio Waves” ISS-2007 will be held on October 16 - 18, 2007 in Moscow, Russia.

The Symposium will be carried out in the comfortable vacation house “Pakhra” belonging to the Administration of the President of the Russian Federation. The complex “Pakhra”  is located in a wonderful place near to Moscow.

Arrival

    The foreign participants of the Symposium will be met in an airport on October 14, 2007 and transported to hotel “Uzkoe” (accommodation price is about USD 70/day) and next morning will be delivered in “Pakhra” place.

Accommodation

    All the participants and accompanying persons will be accommodated at the complex “Pakhra” which has good facilities and is available at reduced rates:

1.      Apartments (2 rooms)                         -      USD  125/day

2.      Single occupancy                                -       USD   30/day

3.      Double occupancy (2 beds)                -       USD   20/day/person

The breakfast, lunch and supper cost in local restaurant is about USD 12/day/person.

Registration

    Registration will be held at “Pakhra” on October 15, 2007.  Registration fee - USD 500, for the students and accompanying persons – USD 250. The registration fee includes the proceedings, reception, refreshments, coffee-breaks, banquet, excursions on Moscow and local transportation.

Departure

    We are planning to depart from the “Pakhra” to Moscow (airport) by bus in the morning    October 19, 2007
